DEADLINES FOR ENTERING PROGRAMMES IN COMPETITION AND FOR THE JURORS
In order to make sure that preparations run smoothly we would like to draw your attention to the 2007 deadlines:
15 May 2007 - Entry forms and Summaries of Programmes
15 June 2007 - Technical and Promotion material, Scripts, photos, biographies exc.
30 June 2007 - Name, CV and photo of the juror
USEFUL INFORMATION FOR THE JURORS
The jurors are kindly requested to arrive in
Verona
in due time, in order to attend the
briefing of the jurors that will take place on Sunday afternoon, Sept.23rd,
at 02.00 p.m. Soon after the briefing, the juries will meet to elect their Presidents.
The names of the nominated persons should be immediately communicated to the Secretariat.
The juries will decide how to proceed in the listening and screening of the programmes
in competition according to the Presidents’ suggestions and according to the deadlines
imposed by the development of the session.
By Thursday afternoon, Sept. 27, the
Presidents of the jury must have drawn up a Report containing the short lists (the
three best programmes in each sub-category out of which the winning programmes will
be decided).
On Friday morning, Sept. 28, at 9.30 there will be the public debate of the juries. Soon after, the jury reports will be made available to all the participants.
On Friday, Sept. 28, in the afternoon, the juries must take their decision about the winning programmes and the Presidents’ reports should soon be delivered to the Secretariat.
The jurors are kindly invited to attend the Prix Italia General Assembly which will take place on Saturday Sept. 29 at 11.30 a .m.
HOW TO REACH VERONA AND THE LOCATION OF THE PRIX ITALIA
By car: from autostrada A4 Serenissima Milan-Venice take the Verona Sud exit or from autostrada A22 Brennero-Modena, take the Verona Nord exit, and head for the “centro storico”;
By train: the Verona Porta Nuova station is 1.5 kilometres from the Prix Italia location. Frequent bus connections, lines 11-12-13;

By plane: the Verona Valerio Catullo airport is 12 kilometres from the Prix Italia location, and there are shuttle buses every 20 mins. to and from the Verona Porta Nuova railway station.
