Prix Italia - material to be supplied
The following material is required for the programmes submitted to the competitions:
- Radio, TV, Web and Special Prizes entry forms (see our website www.prixitalia.rai.it).
- English and French summaries of the Radio, TV, Web and Special Prizes programmes must be sent only by
e-mail to prixradio@rai.it
prixtv@rai.it
prixweb@rai.it and
prixspecial@rai.it.
Due to limitations of space in our publications, the summaries must not exceed 7 lines (840 characters) in each language.
- Copy of the programmes, recorded according to the requested standards, on DVD or tapes (1/2" 625/50 BETACAM SP videocassette), R-dat or Cd-audio
(two recordings of the radio programmes and one copy of the television programmes), together with other promotional materials of the programmes and five copies of
the score or equivalent for music productions (in particular for radio programmes) must be sent by courier directly to the Prix Italia Secretariat:
Via Monte Santo, 52, 00195, Rome.
- Please be informed that, considering the prescreening/listening system the Secretariat is preparing for the tv/radio drama juries and for the special prize
"programmes that effect social change", for the programmes entered to the above categories we need
1 further copy encoded low quality for web streaming, file windows media video (.WMV), image format 352X288, BitRate 300 Kbps for Video and 32 Kbps for Audio.
We suggest you to use Windows Media Encoder 9.
- English and French scripts (to be sent only by e-mail to the above e-mail addresses)
- c.v. of the jury members (to be sent to the Prix Italia Secretariat by e-mail).
Web
Websites must be compatible with the most common Browser (such as: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari), be viewed at a
resolution of 800x600 pixels up to a maximum of 1024x768 pixels. They will also be able to run on the most important environment,
such as Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, and must run on Linux Based platform. (Ex: Ubuntu, Fedora, Mandriva, etc..). An
organisation which has made substantial structural modifications to a site prior to the competition being held, will provide a
concise description with details of any changes made since the site was entered in the competition. Should the site not exist in
an English or French version, the organisation will provide a video presentation in English (DVD, CD-Rom or streaming) in which
the site is described, or a full and detailed synopsis in order to render the site comprehensible.

Italia Secretariat: Via Monte Santo, 52, 00195, Rome);
- English and French scripts (to be sent only by e-mail to the above e-mail addresses);
- jury members: c.v. and photo should be sent to the Prix Italia Secretariat by e-mail. Please note that Radio, TV and Web
jurors should not be directly involved in the programmes submitted to the competition by the Organisation they represent.
