Art.13 - Working procedure of the juries
Jurors and Delegates are offered a warm welcome to PRIX ITALIA 2008!
We kindly invite you to read carefully the information below.

Jurors are kindly requested to arrive in Cagliari/Sardinia the day before the festival opens in order to attend
to the briefing of the jurors on Sunday 14th September 2008 at 9.30 a.m.
- ELECTION OF JURY PRESIDENTS:
Right after the briefing session, the juries will meet to elect their respective presidents.
Names of those nominated should be communicated immediately to the Secretariat.
Under the guidance of the presidents and the schedules designed by the Secretariat,
the juries will decide how to proceed with the listening and screening of programmes in competition.
Thursday afternoon is the deadline by which jury presidents will be expected to draw up a report,
with the three short-listed programmes in each sub-category, out of which the winners will be selected.
On friday 19th September 2008 at 9.30 a.m. the juries will feed back detailed information
on the competition entries, trends and interesting features during the Public Debate.
The debate is the core element of the festival, where the jurors share as much expert
information on their deliberations as possible for the participants and the press.
The Public Debate should be considered a workshop for experts in the field.
Participants are kindly invited to take an active role in the exchange of information.
The Public Debate will be chaired by Caroline Thomson, Honorary President of Prix Italia
Soon after, the written jury reports will be made available to all festival participants.
During the afternoon, the juries will decide on the winners. The presidents are
kindly requested to hand in their final reports immediately to the Secretariat.
Jurors are invited to join delegates in attending the Prix Italia General Assembly which will
take place on Saturday 20th September 2008 at 9.30 a.m
The Award Ceremony will be held on Saturday 20th September 2008 at 4 p. m.. The final day of
the festival will end with a gala-show produced by RAIUno and will be followed by a farewell reception.
